Võtja/The winner

Võitja on kommenteerija nr 22. Chelsea @ Garden-Me.com , palju õnne! Ja USA-sse saatmine pole probleem! Palun kirjutada aadressil rebelyarn (a) yahoo.com . Teatan sinna ise ka, kes on võitja.
I asked my daughter to name a figure from 1 to 26 (there are 26 comments). She has no idea about the giveaway, so it is random indeed. The winner is the commenter no 22. Chelsea @ Garden-Me.com , congratulations! And yes, sending to US is no problem! Please write at rebelyarn (a) yahoo.com . I will inform them about the winner.
Now to the comments. There are many comments in Estonian, some are in Polish and Finnish. Those who do not read in these languages would certainly like to know what shawl others like best and why.
Üks inimene ei osanud öelda. Kõige rohkem hääli on saanud Shibui linane: 13 häält 26-st ehk pool!
One person could not make up her mind. Shibui linane got the majority of voices: 13 out of 26, that is, a half! There was one hesitant answer whether to prefer Lehesadu or Shibui linane but maybe slightly favouring the latter. The simplicity was the key, maybe the linen yarn played a role, too, because the shawl drapes nicely. One commenter mentioned that even while she does not wear shawls, she could imagine herself wearing this.
Tiina sai 6 häält + 1 ebamäärane Tiina/Lehesadu. Lehesadu sai 4 häält. Rõhutati nii konstruktsiooni kui lehemustrit. Klassikaline muster, kuigi hästi tunda-teada, võib olla võluv. Lehesaju puhul mainiti ka mohääri, selle kohevust.
Tiina got 6 voices + 1 ambivalent Tiina/Lehesadu. Lehesadu got 4 voices. Both the construction and the leaf pattern were decisive. A classical pattern, albeit very familiar, may be charming. Mohair and its fluffy character was mentioned in the case of Lehesadu.

Seega tuli ilmsiks midagi, mida tean ise ka. Esiteks, minimalismis on võlu.
Thus, something came out that I know anyway. First, there is a charm in minimalism. Only that you have to present it in a right way (here both a personal style and the match between the yarn and the stitch pattern are important). Second, classical lace patterns remain attractive. Maybe yarn + pattern combination is important here, too, although leaf patterns, diamonds and diagonals look wonderful in linen as well. Third, I am balancing between the two and maybe this is right in my case. Thank you all for comments! It is always pleasant to learn that someone reads what I write here and ponders about it.
